AC Milan is sticking to their intention to build their own stadium in the San Francesco area of San Donato and there are more developments to report.

Il Cittadino writes that in recent days the Sportlifecity company – which now belongs 90 percent to the Rossoneri – sent the Municipality of San Donato an official request to open a process aimed at evaluating an urban variant to the Integrated Program of intervention already approved in the past.

administration which arrived at the town hall via certified e-mail, the company put it on paper that the variant hypothesis will comply with the expected settlement values and that the objective is to carry out a project of international value.

Councillor Massimiliano Mistretta stated: “The important aspect for this administration is that Milan intends to intervene in the urban framework foreseen in Sportlifecity.”

Essentially, what the club have requested is that the original plans for the Sportlifecity development – which foresaw the construction of a 20,000-seat arena – are changed to a 70,000 seater stadium plus some other developments.

In addition to the stadium there will be bars, restaurants, shops and hotels, to which perhaps the executive offices of the company will be added.

Milan president Paolo Scaroni admitted yesterday that the stadium project has caused him a great deal of stress but did suggest that positive updates would be coming.

  1. Gasss keun Bangggg 😂👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Hopefully we can start the project this season. I think if Redbird can start stadium project it will be huge statement of intent for them, as they will be able to do something no one in Milan can do since early 2000s.
