Club Brugge head coach Carl Hoefkens has admitted that Charles De Ketelaere was left out of their first game of the season because of the situation surrounding his future.
Club Brugge won 3-2 against Genk this afternoon to begin their league season with a victory, and Hoefkens spoke about the future of De Ketelaere, who was excluded from the squad at his request as per Calciomercato.com.

“I’ll do anything for him… but it’s all a little too much for Charles,” he said.
It comes after Gianluca Di Marzio reported in Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) that the mother of De Ketelaere has already been to Milan to look for a house for her son ahead of a potential move.
Milan are working to bridge the gap between their offer and the demands of Brugge, but the Belgian champions are still resisting. Vincent Mannaert – the general manager of Brugge – continues to ask for at least €5-6m more than the current offer of the Rossoneri, who believe they have done their utmost to sign him.

Their head coach is really down bad being a suck up to Charles right now to convince him to stay 😂
Hey Mr Carl Hoefkens it’s not only a little too much for cdk and you but it’s way too much for us hearing same news on see saw game between brugge and Milan…..plz thus should end one way or the other…..
Seems mental arent one of his strongest point, well this dude should forget milan & focus on his current growth track without milan titanic expectation. If we do buy him at 35+ mil, he will be judge to be world class every second he’s on the pitch.
World class players sell for alot more than 35m nowadays buddy lmfaoooooo
Nah, even average would cost you more.. outside milan ofc
Like Grealish for 100
Or Harry F’ng Maguire for 87M€! 😀
