CM: AC Milan dealt blow in pursuit of Everton’s Richarlison

By Nikita Fesyukov -

AC Milan have been following Everton’s Richarlison for some time now. He was a target for the old Rossoneri management already during his days at Fluminense but ended up joining Watford in the end and last summer the player made a qualitative leap forward and joined Everton. Interest in the player remains but new developments suggest that a potential deal is difficult to finalize.

According to Calciomercato.com, Richarlison’s agent met Everton representatives a couple of days ago and has received indications that the player is unsellable and untouchable for the club. The sale of the Brazilian would only be possible in case of an irrefutable offer in the vicinity of  65-70 million.

The reason for this rapid price rise is the player’s fantastic Premier League form, with him having scored 11 goals so far this season. The young attacker has also been called up by Brazilian coach Tite to play for the national team and is one of the future pillars of the Selecao.

The cost, at the moment, is too high for Milan and it seems unlikely that Leonardo and Maldini will make a move due to the complexity of a potential deal.
