CM: AC Milan’s stance on Juventus defender clear amid reports of agent talks

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are not interested in a move for Juventus defender Daniele Rugani despite speculation suggesting otherwise, it is claimed.

Rugani has been persistently linked with a move to the Rossoneri over the last few months, with Milan in the market for a new centre-back and the Italian struggling for game time with the Bianconeri.

Sky Italia recently stated that Juventus have put Rugani on the market with an asking price of around €25million, with Arsenal and Leicester ahead of Milan at that point in the hunt for his signature.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday Sportitalia journalist Alessandro Jacobone made the claim that Rugani’s agent contacted Milan to see if there is any interest from the Diavolo in his client.

However, according to Calciomercato.com’s Daniele Longo, Milan have made their stance clear: they have no interest in signing Rugani this month and are focusing on other targets.

Jean-Clair Todibo appears to be the first choice defensive reinforcement, but a deal is seemingly in the balance as Maldini and Boban are growing ‘impatient’ with both Barcelona and the player, as per the latest reports.
