Davide Calabria and AC Milan will extend their partnership. As reported by Calciomercato.com this evening, the right-back has reached an agreement with the Rossoneri for a contract renewal, which will be announced soon.
The 22-year-old’s current deal with the San Siro side expires in 2022 (via Transfermarkt), and after becoming a regular in the starting eleven, a renewal is on the cards. In fact, as the report claims, an agreement has been reached to extend the deal until 2024.
Only the official announcement is missing from the club, which could arrive very soon, per the report. The youngster currently earns €1.1m (Gazzetta via SempreMilan), though it is expected that this will increase significantly in the new agreement.
As a result of the international break, Milan’s next game will be against Hellas Verona in one week’s time. Calabria is expected to play from start, as Giampaolo has focused on the player for the first two games of the season.
