It seems Davide Calabria will depart at one of the next two opportunities to do so, and AC Milan are already beginning to evaluate potential replacements.
This season, the baton has already been starting to be passed elsewhere, and this has shown in multiple ways. Calabria remains Milan’s club captain, but Fonseca has instead preferred to utilise a multi-leader system.
The decision goes hand in hand with the right-back’s minutes dropping, as Emerson Royal looks to cement himself in the position. Due to the Italian’s renewal talks not progressing, it seems that the captain will depart in the winter mercato, if not the summer when his current deal expires.
As Calciomercato.com writes, Galatasary looks like a possible destination, given they have stated their interest on several occasions, and Olympique Marseille are also in the running it seems. Now, though, the big question facing Milan is who will replace him.
There has been a lot of interest in Tiago Santos in the past, but a move for the Portuguese looks unlikely given the Rossoneri see Alex Jimenez as a possible replacement. The Spaniard is held in high regard by the management, and given he has already played first-team minutes, it would not be a major risk.
I would love to give Jimenez a chance to become a starter. He’s fast rly good in attack and since he is getting played as a fullback still despite having such great attacking skills, it shows that people see good defensive skills in him too. He had 1 bad game for us a Fullback the rest was good (1 game was incredible good). Let’s give him a chance
Jimenez is a winger not a fullback and should be our wing sub. Especially if Fonseca starts playing Leao – Puli – Chuk trio.
But still, anything is better than Emerson.
Theo is a winger if we’re being honest with ourselves here. Adapted to a wingback. Jimenez can’t do it?
What’s the point of AC Milan?
Associazione Calcio Milan (Italian pronunciation: [assotʃatˈtsjoːne ˈkaltʃo ˈmiːlan]), commonly referred to as AC Milan (Italian pronunciation: [a tˌtʃi mˈmiːlan]) or simply Milan,[6] is an Italian professional football club based in Milan, Lombardy. Founded in 1899, the club competes in the Serie A, the top tier of Italian football. In its early history, Milan played its home games in different grounds around the city before moving to its current stadium, the San Siro, in 1926.[7] The stadium, which was built by Milan’s second chairman, Piero Pirelli and has been shared with Inter Milan since 1947,[8] is the largest in Italian football, with a total capacity of 75,817.[9] The club has a long-standing rivalry with Inter, with whom they contest the Derby della Madonnina, one of the most followed derbies in football.[10]
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 you’ ve killed me . 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That’s more effort than it’s worth… Should have just dropped the link …
What’s the point of AC Milan without Calabria you mean? LOL!!!
you’re right…. they should just close shop.
We’re a pretty average side with no identity and the team now is virtually unrecognisable from a year ago.
So what is the point of AC Milan?
We don’t win.
We don’t play great football.
We have virtually no connection to the place that we’re named after.
We have Emerson Royal as our RB.
Why don’t we all just support Man City or Real or someone better?
What keeps us supporting AC Milan?
What’s the point of it?
Because you imagine that we’re going to sign some amazing upgrade on Calabria/Emerson Royal/Terraciano/and the 10 or RBs we sign after that to one day, maybe, end up back where we were 2 years ago with….oh Calabria as our RB.
This is why you’re all so obsessed with the transfer market. Because it lets you all live out a fantasy future in your heads to distract from how utter depressing and pointless reality is.
What’s the point of you b*tching and moaning here about the club we love every day? Nothing will change by you filling this site with your cr@p each day. It will only agitate the ones who actually love and support the club.
Calabria going kululu should return cos he can play both CENTER BACK and RIGHT BACK. It really hurts me wen I see him in that black and white jersey
Terraciano will be Calabria replacement why Jimenez will be at the left back
Tell me you don’t understand positions without telling me you don’t understand positions.
Since Calabria is seemingly being pushed out, that Florenzi is down for the count and that Kalulu has been given up to Juventus, we will actually have to find a good right-back next summer.
And let me emphasize on the word “good”.
Emerson cemented? Did the writer watch Milan games this season???
We must keep Calabria at least for another season
If we can’t buy anyone maybe we should let young player star playing at the right?
