CM: Colombo waiting for news on his future with two agreements lined up

By Oliver Fisher -

As we enter the final five days of the summer transfer window, the immediate future of Lorenzo Colombo remains up in the air.

According to Calciomercato.com, Colombo is waiting to understand whether he will be staying at Milan for the season ahead or whether he will be heading out on loan to Monza.

One thing is for sure, and that is that Colombo should sign the renewal of his contract which is currently expiring in 2025, with the parties working on the basis of an extension until 2028.

Then, if another striker were to arrive before the end of the mercato – and the name of Mehdi Taremi is once again very hot – then he can head to Monza.

Colombo therefore, with zero minutes played so far in the two Serie A matches played by Milan, is waiting for a green light for a loan deal. Monza are in pole position at the moment, so there could be a double agreement sealed in the coming days.
