AC Milan are considering a move for Fulham midfielder Jean Michael Seri if they fail to land Jordan Veretout, a report claims.
Veretout appears to be the primary target for the Rossoneri to follow the signing of Ismael Bennacer from Empoli, however the deal is not an easy one.
We revealed on Friday that Milan are adamant on including Lucas Biglia as part of the deal, however the Argentine’s salary demands are leaving La Viola very apprehensive about accepting him as a counterpart.
According to a a report from Calciomercato.com, more meetings are due to be held between Milan and Fiorentina as they ‘attempt to thrash out a deal for a player’
However, a back-up option has been identified in the form of Fulham’s Ivorian midfielder Jean Michael Seri.
Seri arrived at Fulham from Ligue 1 side Nice last summer but, given their relegation, now looks set for a quick departure.
The 27-year-old made 32 Premier League appearances last season, scoring one goal and adding two assists, and is believed to have cost Fulham €35million.
