After Krunic and Hernandez, AC Milan are preparing to announce their third signing of the summer. Today, in fact, the final details of Bennacer’s move to the Rossoneri will be finalized.

Unlike what some media outlets have reported, the deal was never at risk. Milan will pay around €16m plus bonuses to Empoli, and as mentioned the transfer will be completed very soon.

However, the arrival of Bennacer doesn’t exclude another signing for the midfield. In fact, a meeting is scheduled with Fiorentina today for Veretout, as the Rossoneri are looking to insert Biglia in the negotiations.

The Argentinian’s hefty salary is a problem, as Fiorentina aren’t willing to pay such an amount for a 33-year-old. Therefore, the midfielder will have to lower his demands in order to reunite with Montella.

Roma are still in the race for Veretout, though they have identified an alternative in Boca Juniors’ Almendra. With that said, Milan are in a good position to land the Frenchman, should things go as planned.
