CM: Giampaolo faces dilemma in one position ahead of Udinese clash

By Oliver Fisher -

Rafael Leao could start from the first minute against Udinese in the opening game of the season on Sunday, a report claims.

The Rossoneri kick off their 2019-20 campaign at the Stadio Friuli this weekend and head coach Marco Giampaolo still has some important decisions to make with regards to selection.

Recent reports have suggested that Giampaolo will entrust a number of familiar players in Udinese as he looks to take advantage of those he has had longer to work on the training ground with.

A back four of Davide Calabria, Mateo Musacchio, Alessio Romagnoli and Ricardo Rodriguez is expected, while Fabio Borini, Lucas Biglia and Hakan Calhanoglu could make up the midfield.

In behind the striker will be Suso with Krzysztof Piatek up front, and although Samu Castillejo has worked with his team-mates for longer, Calciomercato.com believe that Leao still has a chance to start.
