Zlatan Ibrahimovic said goodbye to football as he announced his retirement after the 3-1 win against Hellas Verona. However, there’s still a chance that he could remain at AC Milan for the foreseeable future.
After the departure of Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara, Milan are looking for a new club manager, who can work closely with the team just like the duo did. The current management knows how much Ibrahimovic means and wants him for that role.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan had a first chat with Ibrahimovic recently about the role but the Swede was unable to give a proper answer. He’s yet to decide what he wants to do in the future, in fact, and doesn’t want to rush anything.
Ibrahimovic didn’t reject any offer from Milan, therefore, who will wait a couple of more days before turning their attention to other options. Rest assured, the 41-year-old is the Rossoneri’s first choice for the role.

It’s a good development for Milan, if Ibrahimovic become the club manager, his present will give more moral to the players.
He needs to start at the bottom and work his way up just as he did as a player. Don’t get me wrong, I love the idea. He contributed last year to developing the players and giving authority in the dressing room. But I feel he’s not quite ready for this position. I’d like him to try as an assistant coach first or something like that. This way he can shadow Pioli, and learn what he has to learn (also, does he even have a coaching license ?).
The role Abbiati had would be perfect for him. Working in between the players and the management. He’d be close to the players and making them work hard.
Ibra is a unique person, so i tihnk we need to be a bit creative and flexible with how we use him. He has lots to offer, but i’m not sure he fits into a narrowly defined role, like a youth coach. On the other hand, he deserves more than being a cheer leader. I’d quite like to see him involved in transfer negotiations, convincing players to join us, and something to do with the first team as well.
Good to persieve a possible with Milan and Ibrah on a managerial outfit.
That would be promising for us owing to his love for Milan, passion and pursuit for the winning strikes.
I think its a good move if that would be possible.
With Ibra in that position we can sign quality player. He’s charismatic.
