Jorge Mendes has reportedly promised to AC Milan that he will find a new buyer for Andre Silva after his move to Monaco collapsed.
That is according to Calciomercato.com, who claim there there have been new contacts between Milan and Mendes on Monday.
The agent is helping the Rossoneri’s mercato on multiple fronts; including the sales of Silva and Patrick Cutrone plus the signing of Rafael Leao from Lille.
Milan were forced to put some of their mercato plans on hold after Silva’s sale fell through, but Mendes has now told the club that he will find a new buyer for the Portugal international.
Wolves have been mentioned as a possible destination for the former Porto star, however the report suggests that Mendes is probing the market for a new destination.
Should a buyer be found, then Milan would accelerate their pursuit of a second striker, with Atletico Madrid’s Angel Correa seemingly the favourite at the moment.
