The reliable Mohamed Bouhafsi of RMC Sport, on his Twitter account, reported important updates about AC Milan’s interest in Rafael Leao.
As stated by Bouhafsi, several sources close to the player claim that the Lille striker will join Milan in the coming hours for a fee of €35m. This weekend, he’s expected in the city to undergo his medical tests for the club.
Furthermore, the Rossoneri have agreed to include a clause in the contract, which guarantees Lille 20% of any future sale. Last season, Leao scored eight goals in Ligue 1, while assisting an additional two.
Meanwhile, the Rossoneri have also agreed to sell youngster Tiago Djalo to the French side, who will pay €5m for the Portuguese’s services. Therefore, even though the operations aren’t linked, Milan will indirectly pay €30m for Leao.
