CM: Leao’s exit could fund signing of second striker for Milan – the targets

By Isak Möller -

One of Milan’s priorities this summer is the attack as Zlatan Ibrahimovic won’t be able to play every game next season. However, they are not just looking for an experienced player, as two strikers could arrive.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri could do more than just bringing in Olivier Giroud. Of course, they would need the funds to sign yet another striker and they could arrive from the sale of Rafael Leao.

Milan’s management had a meeting with the Portuguese winger’s agent, Jorge Mendes, last week and made it clear that they would want at least €28m. That is the same amount they paid to Lille to get Leao in the first place.

Potential targets for the Rossoneri include Sasa Kaljdzic, Giacomo Raspadori and Gianluca Scamacca. There was a meeting regarding the former recently and the request of Stuttgart is around €25m, which could be funded by Leao’s exit.
