CM: Maldini, Massara and their €450k masterpiece – Kalulu is now worth €20m+

Last night’s protagonist was, without a doubt, Pierre Kalulu as he scored the winner for AC Milan in their game against Empoli. The youngster’s growth since arriving at the club has been very impressive, and he’s not looking to stop.

The Frenchman found the back of the net with a great left-footed effort on the edge of the box, leaving the goalkeeper cemented to the ground. In addition, he was great in the defensive phase and got the MOTM in our player ratings.

As highlighted by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Kalulu has everything to become a starter for Milan: explosiveness, ability to defend in all situations and good skills in the build-up phase. And as of late, he has improved a lot technically as well.

Milan paid just €450k for his services (compensation fee) when they signed him on a free transfer from Lyon in 2020, and now he’s worth no less than €20m. A masterpiece by Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara that has proved the Rossoneri’s strategy right.

  1. I don’t see why would we buy Botman. We have Tomori, Kjaer, Kalulu, Gabbia and even Caldara looks good this year on loan. Even if someone will leave we should get a back up and not a starter, reward Kalulu by giving him more responsibility.
