CM: Massara pushing to sign Japan international on a free – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

Further confirmations have arrived regarding the story that broke earlier today stating that AC Milan are interested in signing Daichi Kamada on a free transfer.

Calciomercato.com are also reporting that Milan are after Kamada whose contract with Eintracht Frankfurt is about to expire after Corriere dello Sport wrote the same earlier today.

The Japan international is admired by the Rossoneri’s sporting director Ricky Massara who has already started the talks with the entourage of the 26-year-old, sensing an opportunity to beat the competition.

Kamada plays as an attacking midfielder and has scored 7 goals in the Bundesliga, 4 in the German cup and 3 in the Champions League. Milan know it won’t be easy, because Napoli, Benfica and Borussia Dortmund are also keen.

Kamada has decided not to renew his contract with Eintracht Frankfurt because he wants to compete at a top club. His requests for salary are €4-5m net per season, plus commissions for the agents, and Massara is pushing to make it happen.

  1. Dont know what type he is but base on his Physique he wont get bullied like diaz so thats an improvment. Plus it be a good signing for the asain market

      1. Since we are looking in to Asian players tho, i would like to mention Kang-in Lee. Very skilfull, young, cheap and can play as an AM, RW. His dribling is like Messi. Might be what we need on the RW.

        1. 100% agreed.
I am Korean, and have followed his growth since he was 10 years old.

At. Madrid already submitted an offer, which is quite unfortunate for us though..

Heung-Min Son would be great when he runs out of contract next year (or maybe the next?) in the future for sure.

  2. My Milan and management funny transfer business😂😂😂. Aoura is free and wanted to sign but I guess he wasn’t liked, and randomly a liked player appears and demanding higher salary, Origi Vs Kolo Muniain comes to mind. I hope the liked guy works for us.

    1. You think we’re the only club interested in a free Aouar ? you gotta be kidding me. His agent is just showcasing him until the highest bidder comes out, in this case Roma who can pay more than us in wages (see Dybala as an example). This is not FIFA where the game favours your decisions. Reality is there are other teams who can offer more than us..I’d be happy if he comes but let’s not pretend like we’re the only club that can land him or that’s it’s as simple as snapping your fingers

  3. I have to admit that I’m not familiar with this player, but his stats seem better than Brahim’s. He’s free and, as flying turtle noted, would be a good signing for the Asian market. There seems to be a bit of upside here. The free signing would be particularly beneficial if we miss out on the CL.

  4. Kamada is a top player. Massara should close this deal as soon as possible. Return Diaz to Real Madrid and sign Matthias Almada and Baldanzi. Loan Baldanzi to Empoli for another season.

  5. I like kamada. Very adapted to this eras game, and doing well with a struggling Frankfurt, currently has 20 goal contributions (scored a pen today)

    1. Don’t be too fooled by stats. He might be taking all the penalties like Kessie did. On paper you would think Kessie was a goal scoring mid like Milenkovic-Savic, but in reality it was very rare for Kessie to score from open play.

      1. True, the Frankfurt game just finished and a he collected an assist as well. I wouldn’t be complaining too much if we got him on a free for our trequartista role as he surely can’t struggle as much as CDK has

        1. O yes def worth to get him on free. His curent price is 30mil so even if he don’t turn out too good we can still make a good capital gain. Plus the money from the Asian market from selling shirts.

  6. Top class player. Quick feet, wonderful pace and killer pass first attack mentality. Saw him twice in the CL Group stages v Sporting and he jumps out quality wise. Plus he makes Kolo Muani tick over there. Closest player comparison for me is a more balanced version of Ivan Perisic. Not as polished of course but at 26 his best. Question is, can he play RW because we desperately need someone to challenge Alexis and bring his best out. Messias just ain’t it tbh plus he’s the wrong side of 30 now. If he’s picked up we can forget about Brahim so the club has a decision to make. CDK with a bit of conditioning and bulk I insist can thrive at the 9 as opposed to the 7 or 10. I doubt his mentality though as the All in all, a better option than Aouar on a free.

  7. Yes we are the king of free agent players but what to win leagues with those who bought good players with big money?
We need players who can intimidate opponents not players who opponent sees and laugh loud

  8. In all Milan need someone like jorit Doan he is dangerous dribbler Milan need to wake up and make solid signing next season it’s important we Milan fans has seen Milan need enough money for quality players to make us soldify

  9. In this champions league Milan should put inter Milan in pressure,Milan should press Milan with the ball like be in control of the ball Milan should not allow inter Milan to attack at all other wise inter will score Milan should be in total control of the from both first half and second half Milan should not allow inter to penetrate a little intact Milan should not inter get any little chance then Kjaer -thiaw/tomori should be at centre back any ball they should get place it on counter were millan advanced more and more pressing with this Milan can score 3-4 goals and advanced to semi-final then within 75 minutes kalulu should sub calibra tomori must be mind full of the centre back Kjaer should play 90mins
