CM: Midfielder heading for Milan exit – talks on with Liverpool; Juventus option welcome

It seems that Hakan Calhanoglu is heading towards leaving AC Milan and a couple of potential destinations have emerged, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com writes how over time the chance of reaching an agreement with the Turkish playmaker has diminished and now it appears he will depart on a free transfer when his deal expires next month.

However, Calhanoglu will not accept the big offer that came to him from Qatar and more precisely from Al-Duhail in Doha, because he wants to stay in Europe. Juventus would be a welcome destination, but the farewell of sporting director Fabio Paratici and Max Allegri’s return in place of Andrea Pirlo has changed the picture.

Meanwhile, the player’s entourage also had contact with Liverpool. The parties have started talking, but for the time being the English club – coached by Jurgen Klopp – have not yet made a formal offer for Calhanoglu. One thing is for sure though, it seems Calhanoglu is on his way out.
