CM: Midfielder to sign two-year Chelsea renewal and join Milan in potential €15m deal

The exact formula under which Tiemoue Bakayoko will complete his return to AC Milan has finally been confirmed, according to a report.

After having had a successful loan spell with Milan back in the 2018-19 season when Gennaro Gattuso was head coach, Bakayoko has been repeatedly linked with a Rossoneri comeback and it seems that he will finally get his wish with a deal having been completed.

According to the latest from Calciomercato.com, the Frenchman will be in Milan tomorrow for his medical examinations and the signing of his contract with the club. Directors Ricky Massara and Paolo Maldini closed the deal with Chelsea via an interesting formula, the report adds.

It will be a two-year loan with an option to buy set at €15m, which becomes an obligation upon the occurrence of certain conditions. The 27-year-old this morning signed a renewal of his contract at Chelsea until 2024, a necessary step to finalise the deal.
