CM: Milan and Juventus ‘most serious suitors’ for €50m Italy starlet

By Oliver Fisher -

Borussia Dortmund are ready to challenge AC Milan and other interested clubs for Brescia star Sandro Tonali, a report claims.

Tonali has been heavily linked with a move to the Rossoneri in recent months, with Calciomercato.com confirming that Milan made a summer bid believed to be around €15-20m.

The same outlet claimed that Paolo Maldini and the rest of the club’s hierarchy are still interested in the 19-year-old, with Manchester United also keeping a close eye on his.

However, SportMediaset recently reported that at least seven other clubs are interested in signing Tonali.

The player has even previously revealed his love for Milan, revealing that then head coach Gennaro Gattuso was his childhood idol.

According to Calciomercato.com – who cite reports in the German press – Dortmund are now firmly in the race for Tonali, but Juventus and Milan are the most serious suitors thus far.

It has been reported that Tonali will cost €50m next summer.
