CM: Milan ask for time regarding deal with Lokomotiv Moscow – Rossoneri keen on Miranchuk

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have asked for time to reflect on the deal regarding Diego Laxalt as more talks are planned with Lokomotiv Moscow, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com reported earlier today that a well-known Russian intermediary met the Rossoneri management at Casa Milan yesterday. He was negotiating on behalf of Lokomotiv Moscow, who are keen on signing Laxalt for next season, with a €7m offer presented.

The report added that the bid was rejected by Milan who are looking to raise €10m from his sale, but Calciomercato reporter Daniele Longo has now added that Milan want 10 days to reflect upon the situation and may lower their claims.

Longo adds that attacking midfielder Aleksey Miranchuk – who it has been suggested could come the other way – is a profile that Milan like, but there is a lot of distance regarding the valuation of the Russia international and Laxalt which makes a direct swap virtually impossible.
