CM: Lokomotiv make €7m offer for defensive outcast – Milan’s stance revealed

Diego Laxalt is expected to leave AC Milan in September. The Uruguayan started the season on loan at Torino but was called by the Rossoneri, as Ricardo Rodriguez moved to PSV and a replacement couldn’t be found.

According to Calciomercato.com, a well-known Russian intermediary met the Rossoneri management at Casa Milan yesterday. He was negotiating on behalf of Lokomotiv Moscow, who are keen on signing Laxalt for next season.

The Russian side presented their first offer for the left-back, putting €7m on the table although Milan are requesting €10m. The parties will talk again in the next few hours and there is a willingness to close the deal as soon as possible.

At the moment, Aleksey Miranchuk won’t be included in the negotiations. The midfielder is appreciated by Milan but isn’t considered a priority for the time being. Above all, the Rossoneri feel that the cost of the operation is too high.
