CM: Milan battling Man Utd, Juventus and PSG for Italy sensation

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are in an eight-team battle to land Brescia’s star midfielder Sandro Tonali, according to the latest reports.

We revealed back in April this year that the Rossoneri reached out to Tonali’s entourage to gauge interest over a possible move.

The player has previously revealed his love for Milan, revealing that then head coach Gennaro Gattuso is his idol during an interview with Sky Italia.

Calciomercato.com recently stated that Milan did indeed make a summer bid for Tonali, believed to be around €15-20m, that was ultimately rejected.

The same outlet though followed that up over the weekend by insisting that Paolo Maldini and the rest of the club’s hierarchy still want to sign the 19-year-old, with Manchester United also keeping a close eye on his.

According to the latest updates from Calciomercato.it, there are now as many as eight teams watching Tonali with interest.

In Italy, Milan are joined by rivals Inter, Juventus and Napoli while abroad it is claimed that Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and Manchester United are all keeping tabs.

Pep Guardiola’s are believed to be ready to present a ‘real challenge’ for his signature, while Brescia president Massimo Cellino is ‘rubbing his hands’ thinking about a potential bidding war.
