CM: Milan still believe in Origi but a price tag has been set – the latest

By Isak Möller -

Divock Origi arrived on a free transfer ahead of this season but he’s been a flop thus far, struggling with injuries and finding the back of the net. As a result, he could part ways with AC Milan in the summer.

Origi has made 25 appearances for Milan this season but he has found the back of the net just two times. Not enough for a player of his calibre, and the Rossoneri are disappointed that he hasn’t shown more thus far.

According to Calciomercato.com, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara still believe that Origi can become an important player for the team. However, at the same time, they have also slapped a price tag on the Belgian: €15m.

Should an offer of €15m arrive in the summer, then Milan could say goodbye to Origi as it all would be capital gain for the club. Given how he has performed this season, though, it’s difficult to imagine anyone paying €15m for him as it stands.

  1. It’s amazing these made up stories and fantasy prices.
If any team is willing to take Origi for free we will be lucky, given his hefty wages!

  2. Ideal for Newcastle. They might go to CL and need players with experience there and Origi has that and they have money to throw away.
