AC Milan are close to being able to announce the renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic for another season, according to a report.
With his contract set to expire in June, there is an abundance of speculation claiming that the Swede will sign a new one-year extension which ensured he will remain at Milan into his 40s and – all being well – lead the team back into the Champions League.
MilanNews reported last week how the Swede is moving towards a one-year renewal with Milan and ‘the announcement is really close’. The report adds how in a few days he will sign the contract, keeping the current salary with the inclusion of bonuses for objectives such as goals and appearances.
According to the latest from Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, the renewal of the Swede is in fact close and the announcement could arrive ‘very soon’ – speculating that it may arrive in the next week or two.
