CM: Milan increasingly convinced by PSG defender amid €15m price tag

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan are looking for a defender to reinforce the team this summer, given the expected departure of Alessio Romagnoli, and it seems they have identified their man. Even the price tag is affordable, a report claims.

The player in question is Abdou Diallo, who’s looking to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer as he isn’t in the plans of new manager Cristoph Galtier. Does the name sound familiar? Indeed, Milan have been linked with the centre-back in the past as well.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri’s mercato is currently blocked by the situation of Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara. However, it could soon unlock and the Diallo pursuit will be resumed then, especially given his €15m price tag.

It’s a figure that the Rossoneri certainly can afford, having offered €30m for Sven Botman earlier this summer. Diallo is left-footed and mainly plays as a centre-back but Stefano Pioli could also use him to the left, as an alternative to Theo Hernandez.
