Tiemoue Bakayoko certainly isn’t part of AC Milan’s future plan and an exit could even take place in January. At least that is what the Rossoneri want, but it could prove to be difficult to make that happen.
Bakayoko hasn’t made a single appearance this season and Milan are eager to get him off the wage bill. Chelsea still own the midfielder and that has made things a bit more complicated, as several parties must sanction a potential move.
According to Calciomercato.com, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will try to offload Bakayoko in January. The problem, however, is that not a single club has expressed an interest in the 28-year-old.
Bakayoko has a contract with Chelsea until 2024 and his salary is the main issue, with no club willing to pay those figures, per the report. Milan have the option to make the two-year loan permanent in the summer but they certainly won’t make use of that.
