CM: Milan will do ‘everything’ to sign €30m Club Brugge star – talks ongoing

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan have opened talks with Club Brugge over their youngster Charles De Ketelaerae, with the aim of reaching an agreement this summer. In fact, the attacking midfielder is one of their primary targets.

This was reported by Daniele Longo for Calciomercato.com this evening, stating that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will do ‘everything’ to bring De Ketelaere to Stefano Pioli. This past season, the 21-year-old scored 18 goals and got 10 assists.

Milan have opened talks with Club Brugge, per the report, and the demand from the Belgian side is currently over €30m. The Rossoneri are confident that this can be lowered, though, and they will try hard to sign the youngster.

De Ketelaere can play almost everywhere in attack and there’s no doubt that he would be a great signing not just for the future, but also the present. It remains what the initial talks will lead to, but the negotiations are on.

    1. @Ashraf – CDK is another Suso?? LOL. Come on pal with all due respect you sound silly. everyone is comparing him to De Brune. M&M know what they are doing.

      1. CDK comparing to de Brune is insult cdk cannot pass even one player too slow lacking skills loosing the ball easily most of the time don’t believe these media hype

        1. haven’t seen him play but based on his ratings he is a machine plus the most valued player of the belgium league. Also Suso was very good for us at the time, won us many a game, with what we have now on rw Suso was king

    2. He may be another Suso now. But Pioli is there don’t worry and our scouts brought are really impressed with him. So lets see

  1. I still don’t understand why not Dybala for free… 🤔
    And Belotti for free also…
Renew Alessio and just splash the cash on a RW and a back up LB.
With Adli and Pobega we look like almost complete! Wait until January in case something needs to be addressed

    1. Because Dybala will go to inter or the prem sadly. Idk why Maldini didn’t do shit for him, they said he liked Milan

    2. Agree with Dybala. But Belotti? Pass. We offered Romagnoli and he didn’t take it. He wants more $$ and a chance to start. Maldini is not going to put all his faith on Adli and Poegba first season with big club (and Adli’s first in Italy) Need one more established mid – hence Sanches with Tonali and Bennacer.

  2. I have a friend from Bruges and since 2020 he’s been telling me: CDK is stellar material, a worthy heir to De Bruyne. I trust his judgment , the guy will be a fantastic signing, lets hope its true.

  3. Next year Milan will be even better if he joins as CAM. Brahim needs to learn when to pass. He always try to take on player. Two youngsters and Krunic. It is nice depth

  4. We bought Kerkez from Hungary who we had to steal away from Juventus. Some 2 years with AC Milan to waste him on the youths instead of breaking him into the first team. And now he’s been sold to Alkmaar. What the fuck do AC Milan want to buy youths for, so that they continue to play with super expired products like Ibra and Giroud? May Kerkez dribble AC Milan one day and make them lose a Champions League Final so that the arsehole Italian management will learn that they cannot operate with their Italian mentality of delaying the inevitable year upon year upon year. Why don’t they offer Ibra another 2 year contract? Even Jesus Christ had enough at what he did at 33. Why doesn’t AC Milan buy Paolo Maldini (he will be cheap at his age) and play him as 3? He would pair marvellously with Ibra. Maldini will not be able to run up to midfield and Ibra is not able to run down to midfield. At the end of the match they might realise that they had been on the same pitch at the same time. Try to get them at 16, have them first team way before they are 20, keep them to 28, sell them. And Italian teams should be bending over backward to allow Italian youth to make a career in their clubs, so that Italy will have a decent national team instead of playing with the geriatrics that arseholes like Mancini have always liked. So happy that that shit national coach got all beat up by argentina 3-0 plus about another 10 goals Argentina could have easily scored – with the Argentinian public going: Ole’, Ole’, Ole’ and the Italians charging in vain and just looking at the ball when not chasing it. The whole of Italy suffers from this mentality of OUT WITH THE NEW, IN WITH THE OLD. It’s a fucking national psychological sickness.
