Preparing for the future with Ralf Rangnick, Milan aren’t just jeeping tabs on the highly-rated Dominik Szoboszlai, but also several other talents in the German and Austrian league. Lazar Samardzic is one of them.
According to Calciomercato.com, the 18-year-old has ended up on the wish list of Paolo Maldini, the Rossoneri’s technical director. A raw talent capable of making a difference, as confirmed by his 40 goals in as many games with the U-17 team.
Samardzic was given three appearances off the bench with Hertha Berlin’s first team, showcasing his qualities in front of a bigger audience. Per the report, the likes of Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus have also inquired about his services.
However, it seems that Milan are ahead of them, having made an attempt already in January and in September they could make another one. For Rangnick, it could be the perfect signing for his youth project with the Rossoneri.
