CM: Milan Futuro ‘disastrous’ at present in front of Ibrahimovic and Kirovski

AC Milan Futuro were ‘disastrous’ as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Jovan Kirovski watched on this weekend, and serious questions must be asked about the project in it’s current state.

The idea behind creating the Futuro set-up was that Milan would give senior football to young players without them leaving the club. Not only would this allow the Rossoneri to keep a closer eye on them, but it also allows transition between squads.

For example, Francesco Camarda is set to be involved in the Champions League fixture tomorrow evening, and this would not be possible if he had left for a Serie B opportunity. However, his situation brought confusion as he was substituted after 45 minutes this weekend, as Calciomercato.com writes.

With the youngster ‘not doing badly’ and Mattia Liberali sat on the bench, questions were asked about why the Futuro are not utilising their best players, and questions are directed at Ibrahimovic and Kirovski regarding how to fix the situation.

Aside from Camarda and Liberali, Alex Jimenez and Kevin Zeroli are being questioned for their lack of performances, causing people to think that the project is not working to develop players.

Relegation to Serie D looks very possible if things continue in this manner, so a solution must be found very quickly if the project is to be successful.

  1. Kirovski is a nobody. He was a crap player. He’s in a job because he’s Ibrahimovic’s friend. He has no business being in charge of a project like this. He should be sacked, along with Bonera, and they need to hire actual experts.

  2. It is bos ibra that choose kirovski. Everything in milan under bos ibra, he can decide everything. His command is absolute.

    1. Milan will fall with kind of mentality, we need a team of proper sporting directors not someone with a cult of personality, I love Ibra but I think his role should be more focused on the helping with the psychology and instilling a championship mentality in the players. Same goes for Furlani and Moncada, they should probably have positions out of the spotlight while real sporting directors actually do the job

  3. Milan Futuro is having a tough time in Serie C, even though are worth more than most other teams. One big problem is that their young players lack experience, making it hard to compete. A key issue is Francesco Camarda’s disappointing performance, as he hasn’t delivered as expected, which is affecting the team’s ability to score goals. This, combined with their focus on player development, has led to poor results.

  4. They need a full season to break in and get their beaks wet.

Maybe next season they can actually appoint a coach that works well with the kids.

  5. If any team starts the season fixed to the bottom of the table, it’s the coach’s fault.
I don’t know why they didn’t just keep the Primavera coach – he had been doing so well.
