CM: Milan have full faith in young defender amid links with move for a new right-back

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have no intention of letting Pierre Kalulu leave under any circumstances during the summer transfer window, according to a report.

Milan have been repeatedly linked with a move for a new right-back this summer as uncertainty persists over the future of Diogo Dalot, who is on a season-long dry loan from Manchester United. If a new back-up of quality were to arrive, it could cause a log jam in which Kalulu may not come out favourably.

For example, Mundo Deportivo reported over the weekend that Milan are still among the teams interested in signing Barcelona full-back Emerson Royal this summer, a player who would come in and expect game time.

However, according to what has been learned by Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri management strongly believes in the qualities of the French defender and has not put him on the market, which means he will stay and grow at Milan for another season.
