Juventus are moving to try and sign Teun Koopmeiners from Atalanta and AC Milan are watching on with interest, according to a report.
As Calciomercato.com report, after purchasing Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa and Khéphren Thuram from Nice, Juventus wants to complete the midfield overhaul with the arrival of Teun Koopmeiners from Atalanta.
Juve director Cristiano Giuntoli already has an agreement over personal terms with the Dutchman and is planning to launch the decisive assault to reach a deal with Atalanta too. To finance the purchase of Koopmeiners, Juventus are willing to sell Dean Huijsen and Matias Soulé.
Why are Milan implicated? In the meantime, Atalanta have already started working to replace Koopmeiners with two new signings. One is Matt O’Riley of Celtic but the other is Marco Brescianini of Frosinone.
Milan boast a 50% resale clause on the latter, and Frosinone value him at €10m, and the report mentions that the Canarini coukd obtain the loan of defender Giorgio Cittadini from Atalanta, who last season played for Monza and Genoa.
Therefore, the eventual sale of Brescianini to La Dea would land Milan around €5m from the resale clause, which is a nice bump to the budget for the summer mercato from a Primavera graduate.
Źzzzzzzzzzzz
Great more money in to improve the books.
Think we are gonna turn a juicy profit this mercato
I know many of you assumed a different kind of ‘watching closely’ when you saw the headline. LOL.
Isn’t it the same though? We are watching closely. If what we assumed was correct we still would watch closely how Teun goes Juve.
Instead of watching, I would have preferred Milan hijacking the deal for Koop.
Stellar player – would definitely raise our quality. But I think we are going all in on Reijnders and his potential as the AM.
So we should, imagine this management stumble upon giving Milan a midfield quartet of Rjinders, Kooperminers, Fofana and Raibot, easily the best in Seria A, one of the best in Europe.
What makes it frustrating is that the above names are a possibility and the management could push and achieve it, but they would rather just sit their and do nothing…
Such a shame the off-season is the time which really matters and the planning and action taken in the off season will dictate the whole of next season.
“What makes it frustrating is that the above names are a possibility and the management could push and achieve it, but they would rather just sit their and do nothing…”
Not doing nothing – they’re “waiting”. 😉
Yes the are waiting ‘forever’ and it will happen ‘never’
Soooooooooo Dramatic…. Dear God….
More accurate title: Milan watches as Juventus get things actually do
LoL
Milan is doing what they do best: waiting.
We are the best at watching, waiting and financial accounts. Bravo👏🏾
Dont write off Bennacer…
