AC Milan have made a decision regarding the future of Charles De Ketelaere and there is interest from PSV Eindhoven, a report claims.
As Charles De Ketelaere writes, De Ketelaere’s first year at Milan was a disappointment from every point of view as he failed to score a single goal and by the end of the campaign he appeared to have mentally checked out.
The Belgian seemed to suffer more and more from the pressure of the €35m financial outlay that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara made to sign him from Club Brugge, while the struggled to make the step up to Serie A and was scarcely used by the end of the season.
For these reasons, the new management directed by the Furlani-Moncada-D’Ottavio trio has decided that the 22-year-old is no longer a part of the Rossoneri project. His latest appearances in pre-season friendlies on the US tour do nothing but confirm the decision taken by Milan.
A permanent sale would be preferred but €28-30m are needed to avoid a loss in the accounts after on year of amortisation. PSV Eindhoven are keen but they can only do a loan and cannot pay the asking price, so now reflections are taking place.
PSV putting pressure on Milan to unlock the deal and sign the man they have identified as the replacement for Xavi Simons, who returned to PSG and was loaned to RB Leipzig by the Parisians.
OK, Charlie Brown. Time for a little sabbatical. Hope this kid comes back in better form. I really want him to succeed at Milan. But it’s an amazing feeling that we won’t depend on him to produce this season, given our signings.
Excited to see Leao, Oka and Chuk combine into a unit.
Good Luck Charlie!
FORZA MILAN ⚫️🔴
I hope it’s a loan too – would like to see him play and get some confidence (and some muscle) and try again in future. But we know he won’t be high in Pioli’s plans this season.
I think its a shame that things hasnt panned out well and that we now wants to sell him after a year as i still believe in his talent but it also looks like we were mismatched so hopefully if he is sold a new enviroment will do him good and get his career back on track. I suspect he will be sold for the double in a couple of years if he gets back in form but if there is no room for him in the squad its propably still for the best,
Idk if we could take paqueta as an example. He didn’t exactly take off after leaving but still managed to eventually generate some big money transfers. We’re not quite patient with him and might have forgotten that he was once one of us, arriving with quite some fanfare. Fast forward to the present, he’s still 25 (same as reijnders) and imo he’s physically and technically solid and i think if he’s still around he’ll be one of our starting mezzala.
PSV can suck it.. They either pay up or put someone of value the other way.. No freebies.
And they never paid more than 15M for a player
He will play under a different coach. I think Pioli will be sacked at the end of the season, CDK can come back after a loan spell.
I favour a loan. Don’t forget we almost sold Kessie to a club in France, we almost sold Leao to West Ham as well, so it’s nothing new. What about Adli the coach simply refused to use?
Only chance is a loan – to hopefully regain his form/confidence and he increases his value so we can sell for profit or break even OR comes back and becomes the player everyone believes he could – but he def needs a change of scenery and keeping him does us nor him any good.
If they send him on loan, 14 million of his purchase will be amortised which is pure lost money. Only save would be his gross salary if is fully paid be PSV. Than we can hope he will show the best off in Erdevisie and eventually some premier league club will offer 30 million for him.
Anything that works out; this lad needs a break from Serie A. Would have loved to see him sold to a club where he can get the chance to revive his career. With these new signings, he doesn’t stand a chance. Good luck.
I still think that he should be loaned in Serie A, and if LaDea are still interested, well, we should should send him there. For one, it’s practically the same as if living in Milan, and 2nd, if anyone can make him a player he’s supposed to be, it’s them. And 3rd, even if we don’t want him back, but they do wanna sign him on a permanent basis (if he turns out fine with them), Atalanta can surely afford to spend 30 mil, compared to PSV!
Pulisic’s talent level, confidence and high intensity is going to put a lot of players on notice. CDK will crumble even worse under that increased pressure.
All new signing in his position ( RW,AMF ,CF) already prove that management & coach dont want him anymore. Keeping him in squad only decrease his value, his playstyle not fit for high press system . I suggest we offer swap deal CDK + few cash for scalvini with atalanta
CDK got the talent but he is under pressure the management should loan him to gain his confidence back in him and bring him back because to me CDK and Adli are not giving the chance and the confidence……….

Why is Pioli not mentioned among the decision maker?
Lol. Was wondering the same thing. I thought we were in the era of perfect harmony 🤭
That was unharmonius of them to not include Pioli
Try to give CDK chance to be Giroud’s Deputy, maybe ?
