CM: Milan schedule new meeting to try reach agreement over renewal of key defender

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have scheduled a new meeting with the entourage of Davide Calabria to try and finally reach an agreement over his renewal, a report claims.

As MilanLive writes, there are a number of contracts expiring in 2022 that will become a priority, such as Franck Kessie and Calabria, as well as captain Alessio Romagnoli. Regarding Calabria, Milan have already met his entourage in recent days.

The parties are not far from an agreement as Milan have offered a salary raise to €2m net per season including bonuses, double what Calabria currently receives, and a contractual extension until 2026 .

Calabria and his agents, on the other hand, are asking for €500k more than Milan’s offer and one year less for the extension. The Rossoneri management could grant that without problems. As reported by Calciomercato.com, the parties will meet again at Casa Milan in ten days and during this summit the white smoke could arrive.
