CM: Milan schedule new summit with Calhanoglu’s agent as renewal is in sight

In addition to Gigio Donnarumma, whose contract will expire at the end of the season, Milan also need to reach an agreement with Hakan Calhanoglu. The No.10 has been crucial and they don’t want to lose him for free.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri had a meeting with Gordon Stipic (Hakan’s agent) on Wednesday and the parties got even closer. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara put €4m per year (including bonuses) on the table.

The request of Calhanoglu, though, is €5m per year. There is still a difference of €1m but the negotiations are progressing with optimism. The midfielder has expressed his desire to stay at the club and this has helped the process.

In order to reach a definitive agreement, a new summit has been scheduled for the middle of next week, when Stipic will be back in Italy. Milan are hoping that they will be able to reach an agreement already then.
