CM: Milan star could leave as Juve offer ‘more than 5 million’ – “He doesn’t want to renew”

By Oliver Fisher -

At the moment Hakan Calhanoglu is not inclined to renew his contract with AC Milan and Juventus are tempting him, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com reported earlier today that Calhanoglu has been negotiating a renewal with Milan for months but he already has a very attractive offer from the Bianconeri. From Turin they are willing to guarantee him €5m net per season, a figure that the Rossoneri have not matched so far.

Calhanoglu’s future is far from written and in Turin they are sure that the offer presented will shake the player and his entourage. Champions League could be the key as with higher revenues, Maldini could perhaps could raise the €4m salary proposal presented a few months ago.

Daniele Longo from Calciomercato.com spoke live on his Instagram account about the situation regarding Calhanoglu, providing some interesting information.

“At the moment, he doesn’t want to renew the contract. Meanwhile, his entourage is talking with other teams including Juventus. Milan’s renewal offer is about 4 million, Juventus has offered more than 5 million instead,” he said (via MilanPosts).

  1. Hakan, if you want to go for more money, please go. Milan with UCL, may need a stronger playmaker than Hakan who never consistence.

  2. His performance all season (to me at least) does not justify paying over 4ml a season, for 5ml a season with ECL playing team, there are other better options.
