Suso has been one of the protagonists of AC Milan’s transfer market this summer, with the Spaniard being continuously linked to a move away from the San Siro, as various clubs expressed their interest in the player’s services. However, the Rossoneri star is set to remain at the club.
The 25-year-old is considered a vital player for Marco Giampaolo and will feature as the attacking midfielder in the manager’s 4-3-1-2 formation. However, all could have been different, as there was shock interest from Fiorentina in Suso in the last couple of weeks, as Vincenzo Montella wanted to reunite with his former pupil.
In the end, however, the former Liverpool took note of the proposal on the table but rejected, as reported by Calciomercato.com. It is thus very hard to imagine that the Rossoneri management will look to deprive themselves of the Spaniard’s services as the end of the market approaches slowly.
In the meantime, negotiations continue for the departures of Diego Laxalt, Ivan Strinic and Andre Silva, with Maldini hoping to unlock the Angel Correa deal with Atletico Madrid.
