CM: Milan to divert attention to two key renewals – latest on Donnarumma and Calhanoglu

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will try to get agreements over the line for the contract renewals of Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu, a report claims.

As Calciomercato.com reports, both players are under contract until June and that deadline is fast approaching, but there has always been a certain optimism from the Milan management that a positive outcome will arrive from the negotiations.

The latest contacts between Calhanoglu’s entourage and the Milan leadership have reduced the distance between offer and demand, while the agreement with Mino Raiola for Donnarumma remains to be found.

Even the latest offer of €7million net per season is judged to be too low by the prosecutor – who wants €10m – and the issue of whether or not a release clause should be included or not will be addressed.

Nonetheless, Fabrizio Romano told us that Milan are confident that they will indeed strike a deal with Raiola and with Donnarumma, who wishes to stay.
