CM: Milan to meet Real Madrid over playmaker with formula of deal in mind – latest on Jovic

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are set to meet with Real Madrid to discuss the future of playmaker Brahim Diaz, a report claims, while the Luka Jovic rumours have been clarified.

As Calciomercato.com reports, relations between the two clubs are excellent with deals like Emerson, Ronaldo, Kakà and the latest arrivals, Theo Hernandez and Brahim Diaz.

Regarding the latter, the Rossoneri management are studying the next moves. Having landed on a dry loan in the summer, the attacking midfielder native has made 19 appearances to date – including six as a starter – amassing four goals already.

We have seen flashes of quality that Milan want to try to keep for the future and in the coming weeks new talks with Real Madrid are expected. The report adds that the idea of extending the loan by inserting an option to buy for the summer of 2022 will be put forward, with a possible buy-back in favour of Los Blancos, who believe in him a lot.

A win-win deal, as Maldini and Massara would get the player for at least another year and then get a possible development fee, as the buy-back would be higher than the option to buy.

Regarding Luka Jovic, the Rossoneri have monitored the situation of the Serbia international and in recent days had a meeting with Fali Ramadani, the player’s agent, who offered him to Milan.

However, the plans have now changed as the striker is not convincing both for what has been shown so far at Real and for some past intemperances.
