CM: Milan’s plan for Daniel Maldini revealed with 20 clubs interested

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are standing firm on their plans regarding young starlet Daniel Maldini amid interest form a number of clubs, a report claims.

The forward recently committed his long-term future to the club as an announcement from the Rossoneri’s official Youth Sector Twitter account confirmed he has penned a new deal until 2024.

He was pictured signing his contract with father Paolo, CEO Ivan Gazidis and sporting director Ricky Massara, but attentions have now turned to what the future holds.

Calciomercato.com reporter Fabrizio Romano claims that Maldini’s renewal is a clear sign of Milan’s intent: there will be no loan in January.

Instead, the club are determined to allow him to grow at home, by slowly bringing him closer to the first team.

Romano continues by adding that every single team in Serie B has enquired about a loan for the 18-year-old, but the Diavolo are remaining firm on their plans to keep him at Milanello until the end of the season at least.
