CM: No offers have arrived for Kjaer but Milan exit is not ruled out

By Isak Möller -

Simon Kjaer is currently the fourth-choice centre-back at AC Milan and has thus been linked with a summer transfer. However, the Dane has not asked to leave the club, as a report highlights.

Kjaer has been a very important player for Milan ever since he arrived along with Zlatan Ibrahimovic in January 2020. Today, he’s one of the most experienced players in the team and remains an important person in the locker room.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, amid rumours linking him with a move, Kjaer has not asked to leave Milan and no offers have arrived thus far. However, with the Euros taking place next year, he could evaluate any offers that might come his way.

In the meantime, Milan are also working on the arrival of a young centre-back and this could push the Dane to evaluate an exit. At the time being, though, none of the parties are pushing for a move and there is great harmony.

  1. Even if Kjaer didn’t play regularly for Milan he’d still be a starter for DK. And it’s safe to assume that Tomori won’t be “hazard-free” and we can’t use Thiaw-Kalulu as the CB-pair either.
