Noah Okafor is currently at the top of AC Milan’s wish list for reinforcing the attack next summer. Paolo Maldini really likes the player and there could soon be some movement on this front, a report claims.
Milan are planning for the future and since Olivier Giroud, as well as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, aren’t getting any younger, a signing will eventually be needed. The plan seems to be to make the investment in the summer and there is a primary target.
According to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Maldini is increasingly convinced that Okafor is the right player for Milan after watching him play against Milan twice this season. A first meeting could thus take place at the end of the World Cup.
Okafor has been made aware of Milan’s interest, per the report, and he has asked his agent to investigate the matter. He’s ready to make the big leap and RB Salzburg have slapped a €35m price tag on him, most likely will some room for negotiation.
