CM: Origi could leave Milan after one season as three enquiries arrive

By Oliver Fisher -

Divock Origi’s time at AC Milan could end after just one season with clubs in Turkey exploring the idea of signing him, a report claims.

As Calciomercato.com report, Paolo Maldini strongly wanted Origi and even beat competition from Bundesliga clubs because he was convinced that the Belgian’s experience in big games could help Milan take the next step.

However, Origi’s performance in his first season with the Rossoneri have been anything but exciting with just two goals in the league and zero in the Champions League, which means he has failed in his task to be at the very least a deputy to Olivier Giroud.

Milan are ready to listen to offers for Origi as they are aware that a sale would lead to a full capital gain considering that he signed on a free transfer from Liverpool last summer.

Origi is very popular in Turkey where Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Alaynaspor have enquired in the last few hours, but other clubs could be added to this list in the coming days.

  1. He will not leave unless a club offers him higher wages. He was happy to sit on the Liverpool bench for years. He’s a parasite.

  2. Looking at how easily we’ve gotten rid of deadwoods in the past it’s safe to bet that Origi will stay in Milan until his contract runs out. Wanna bet?

    1. Well i agree. I think i should add florenzi, junior mesias will stay till 2025 after their contract expire. In the past AC Milan cannot get rid montolivo, biglia, until their contract expire

  3. He was brought in because of his knack for scoring important goals when least expected but so far he’s been a total shadow of himself.

Was never really bought to start games but to come in and help the team when needed.

Too bad he failed at that.
