Atalanta are preparing to secure yet another signing on the transfer market: Diego Laxalt. The left-back is not in AC Milan’s plans, and will thus leave the club.
This morning, an important meeting was held with the player’s agent, Ariel Krasouski. The summit lasted for about an hour and served to define the player’s agreement with the Bergamo side, as reported by Calciomercato.com.
The encounter was positive, and not the entourage will head back to Casa Milan to reach the final agreement with AC Milan. In the coming hours, this meeting should take place, meaning the deal could be closed today.
Yesterday, the clubs found an agreement in principle on the formula of the deal. The final details are still missing, but Atalanta offered the Rossoneri a loan with a buy-out clause set at €11m, which would become an obligation if certain conditions are met.
At €11m, AC Milan will avoid making a capital loss on the Uruguayan, who arrived from Genoa last summer after Strinic was ruled out late with a heart injury.
