CM: PSG represent a serious threat to Milan in pursuit of unwanted Chelsea man

By Oliver Fisher -

Paris Saint-Germain are a ‘real threat’ to AC Milan as they are looking to close a deal for Tiemoue Bakayoko, according to a report.

Negotiations between Milan and Chelsea for Tiemoue Bakayoko have been one of the biggest sagas of the transfer market campaign. After at first it seemed a formality that Bakayoko would return, it is now uncertain when a decisive breakthrough could occur, one way or another.

Several sources have reported that talks between both clubs have hit a stalemate. The reason for this is that Milan and Chelsea can’t agree on the buy-out option after an initial one-year loan.

A number of different sources have reported that PSG have joined Milan in the race to land Bakayoko, including MilanNews who claim that a bid worth €45m has been launched.

According to Calciomercato.com, PSG are serious about signing Bakayoko before the window closes. This poses a real threat to Milan, who have long been chasing the French midfielder but may ultimately miss out.
