AC Milan are expected to sign a striker this summer and work is already underway on the front, with the Rossoneri in advanced talks with Marcus Thuram. And in case they can’t convince him, they have a Plan B.
After the retirement of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Olivier Giroud not getting any younger, Milan need a striker to complete the squad. Not to mention the fact that Divock Origi, who joined the club just last summer, could depart.
According to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Thuram is Milan’s No.1 target for the attack. The talks have intensified over the last few days and the Rossoneri expect a decision from the Frenchman this weekend, with PSG also in the race.
In the event of a negative response from Thuram, Milan are ready tp accelerate their talks with West Ham over Giasnluca Scamacca. After a disappointing first season in England, the striker could move on loan this summer and the Rossoneri are ready to pounce.
As a final note, Longo adds that the signing of either of these doesn’t exclude the arrival of Noah Okafor from RB Salzburg,

Will have been miles better than last summer for a fraction of the cost. Say whatever you want, that’s good business and good for our football.

But that also means we have 35m leftover (probably more if we sell Rebic/Origi), so why not sign a marquee player with it? That will be the real statement.

If we signed those three without a transfer fee, we would definitely have paid some of that rumoured ’35’ in sign on fees and larger wages than normal for those players.
Lol. Unfortunately we will be lucky to sign one of them and that’s Kamada. Just because they are free doesn’t mean they want to come to Milan as many other clubs can offer a lot more than we can. $$$$ talks amd we won’t spend it – AGAIN.
I’m not convinced Thuram is the right choice to lead our attack. His profile doesn’t scream ‘goals’..
Giasnluca Scamacca is Injury Prone and eanrs high,and he ia not pure Striker.
And it is unacceptable and Failure decision if ac milan sign amd it is working for either of two; Working for Others instead of working for the goals of the Organization(Acmilan) such as what Brahim Diaz or Origi Stayle again.
So it is better to go for the goals of acmilam and sign young pure Strike that we own not Loan from others.
