AC Milan are looking for a new left-back ahead of next season as Fode Ballo-Toure is expected to leave after just one season at the club. Andrea Cambiaso is the No.1 target on their list, a report claims.
Cambiaso, who plays for Genoa, has made a total of 27 appearances this season and he has impressed on the left flank. At the age of 22, he would certainly be a name for the future for Milan, who are unhappy with Ballo-Toure’s displays.
According to Calciomercato.com, Cambiaso tops the Rossoneri’s wish list for the left-hand side and initial talks have been held with Genoa. Now, they will try to strike up a proper negotiation over Cambiaso, who also has attracted the interest of Juventus.
Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara like the player because he plays with good intensity, physically and tactical awareness, as per the report. It remains to be seen if he will be the replacement for Ballo-Toure in the summer.
