AC Milan winger Samu Castillejo has made a decision on his future amid links with a return to Spain, according to reports.
Castillejo is one of the players who has apparently been made available by the Milan management just 12 months after his arrival from Villarreal in an €18m deal.
Speculation has suggested that Villarreal were keen on bringing Castillejo back to the Estadio de la Cerámica, while offers have also arrived from Real Mallorca and Celta Vigo.
As per La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com) on Saturday, the 24-year-old has ‘reiterated to the club that he wants to stay’ despite the interest from his home country.
Despite that fact that the Rossoneri would raise funds from his sale they are also seemingly unlikely to push him towards the exit door.
Castillejo is reportedly battling with Rafael Leao for the spot alongside Krzysztof Piatek, and could play an important role this season under Marco Giampaolo.
