CM: Tomori to make way for Romagnoli on Saturday after three costly errors

By Isak Möller -

Milan will take on Benevento this Saturday and after the humiliating defeat to Lazio, they will need to claim all three points to stay in the Champions League. In other words, they need their strongest team on the pitch.

Fikayo Tomori has been an important player since he arrived in January but lately, he has made a few costly errors. Against Genoa, he lost track of Destro, against Sassuolo he got beaten by Raspadori and Correa also got the better of him last time out.

Therefore, as Stefano Pioli cannot afford his defenders making such mistakes, Alessio Romagnoli will get the chance against Benevento on Saturday. This has been reported a few times already, but confirmations have arrived from Calciomercato.com as well.

Simon Kjaer is expected to keep his spot at the back as he’s continued to perform on a good level. His passing is very important for Milan in the build-up phase, especially now that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is back.
