Report: Conte gives green light as Paratici wants to bring Milan duo to Spurs next summer

By Oliver Fisher -

Spurs boss Antonio Conte has approved of Fabio Paratici’s plans to sign AC Milan duo Franck Kessie and Alessio Romagnoli, according to a report.

Conte was confirmed as the news Spurs boss earlier in the week, and 90min writes that he has ‘already given the green-light’ to some of Paratici’s transfer plans, which include tying up a deal for Kessie to arrive as a free agent when his contract expires at the end of the season.

There are apparently a number of Premier League clubs ready to make contract offers to the Ivorian but sources close to Spurs have confirmed that a deal for Kessie ‘is in the works’, with Conte’s arrival a big factor in their favour.

Conte is also a fan of Alessio Romagnoli as per the report as he is a player that he knows well. He has just over half a season left on his contract and Spurs are looking to sign him as well as Kessie, as they could sign two centre-backs next summer.

Milan have not yet given up on trying to agree contract extensions with both players however all offers sent to the duo have so far been rejected.
