CorSport: Milan benefitting from multiple goalscorers beyond Giroud and Leao

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan have managed to assemble a squad that has sources of goals all over the pitch, rather than being overly reliant on one or two players for their goals.

As highlighted by Corriere dello Sport (via Pianeta Milan), more than just Olivier Giroud and Rafael Leao have been chipping in with the goals for the Rossoneri this season.

Milan are the second-highest scorers in Serie A with 28 goals and the last eight Milan goals across the league and the Champions League have come from players other than Giroud and Leao.

Samuel Chukwueze scored against both Newcastle and Borussia Dortmund, Luka Jovic has scored against Frosinone and Atalanta, and Noah Okafor found the net against Monza in the last Serie A game, as did Tijjani Reijnders.

Christian Pulisic has been chipping in frequently, whilst even Jan-Carlo Simic scored against Monza on his first-team debut. It will be useful to Stefano Pioli for much of his bench to carry a goal threat as the season progresses.
